Following his graduation from Law School in 2005 and while awaiting his bar results, Mr. Bawcum worked as a law clerk for a well regarded personal injury firm in Waukegan, Illinois. Thereafter passing the Illinois State Bar Exam, Mr. Bawcum was hired as an associate with SJTP&A in May of 2006.
Since joining the Firm, in addition to being a member of SJTP&A’s personal injury litigation team, Mr. Bawcum started and heads its Worker’s Compensation practice.
Mr. Bawcum also specializes in the Firm’s Commercial Litigation and Transactions department, along with assisting debtors in Chapter 7 and 11 Bankruptcy.
Mr. Bawcum has been a member of the Illinois Bar since 2005. He is also a member of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Bar. He is a member of both the Illinois Bar Association and the Lake County Bar Association.
Mr. Bawcum currently resides in Gurnee, Illinois with his wife Christina.
